Architectural Committee Information
The authority of the McKinley Mill Architectural Control Committee
[ACC] arises out of Article VI of the Covenants,
Conditions & Restrictions [C,C & R's.] The purpose of the committee
is to enforce restrictions on the addition of new and modifications
to existing structures, buildings, improvements and landscaping that
are not aesthetically or otherwise suitable to McKinley Mill.
As a homeowner considering changes to your property, you should first
review the C, C & R's for limitations and restrictions. Should the
proposed project require approval by the ACC, please download and fill out one of the Request Forms below as instructed. You can choose from a Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat file format below.
Should you need some other format or assistance with accessing either of these forms for your use, please email the webmaster. Contact Grandchester Meadows, Inc. to receive pertinent
instructions on how to complete the forms if needed. The application requests
the signatures of neighbors--please complete this portion of the application
or your request may be delayed. Persons who believe unapproved work
is being done in the neighborhood should contact Grandchester Meadows with the specific
address to determine if approval has been obtained.
Once
the homeowner has completed the required forms and secured any pertinent
written documentation, these materials must be submitted to Grandchester Meadows by mail.
Grandchester Meadows then logs in the application and forwards it to the review committee.
The ACC has 30 days from the date of submission to render decisions
on homeowner applications and does not meet more than once per month.
Please consider this time frame when scheduling your proposed work.
The homeowner will then be notified by the property management company
as to the committee's decision. Approval does not release the homeowner
from compliance with other government regulations. Approved projects
should be completed within 60 days, unless the application sets forth
a different timeframe approved by the committee.
